| Deba is a multi sectoral group operating out from Istanbul, Turkey. Deba owns a steel mill and purchases shredded, HMS1 and HMS2 scrap as well as railroad and ship scrap from international markets. In addition, LHSV collects waste paper, soda cans, plastic bags and used printer cartridges. With a staff of 12 employees LHSV collects approximately 100 tons of waste and waste paper per month. The revenue of this activity is used in financing our medical non-profit activities. LHSV is the only non-profit organization in Turkey that collects recyclable waste for eleven years. LHSV is run by professionals who have been managing the largest paper products company in Turkey. |
